Does anyone have a Stro sighting to report? Does anybody have a clue what he is doing with his time this summer? Did he stay in town and is he working out at the gym? Or is he back home runnin around with the homeys?

I have not heard one thing about what he is doing this summer and I'd like to know. If he is working on his game somewhere, we need a report. But if he is running around in lowriders with the stereo banging and hanging out at the Riverboats, then it is obvious he isn't going to work on his game ever. We need to move him ASAP if that is the case.

Last year, people kept saying that they saw him in strip clubs and even saw him bring one into a "private room". I hope Stro is indeed working on his game.

A better name for the thread would have been "Stro is a Yoyo". The Rockets need to bounce him out of here.

With the way the NBA is evolving, I honestly believe dealing Stro would be a huge mistake.

Zo you think that the NBA is evolving into teams with dumb players that have no idea about the team game or positioning during the game. It sounds like the death of the NBA

So would that mean Keeping Yao would be a big one too?

He sure didn't look dumb when he was posterizing us. But he sure looked lost out there last year. However, he was better than Juwan, I don't care how you slice it. All the same, we've got to get better production out of the 4, so if he ain't workin, then he ain't playin, so trade him for somebody that will play. And get Juwan out of here.

lol. I'm just saying that keeping him would be a good idea because who's going to play the 5 when we decide to go small? Besides Stro, no one on the current Rockets roster has that capability.

LOL, that's is funny. Yao would never let that happen today. Just to remind us how far Yao has come.

If Juwan Howard is starting on opening night I will puke. I will have a hard time watching the season. Yao+Juwan=extra slow.

Stro is better than Juwan? yeah...at dunking

Howard is much more valuable to us that Swift. Howard can shoot the midrange jumper, post up and he's a nice rebounder and post defender...Stro has a solid offensive game but lacks desperately defensively, with the exception of his 1 blocked shot per game.

Not only that, Howard is consistent and reliable. But of course, CF is right as always-- we'll ignore the fact that a 33 yr old gets more minutes and the starting position over a 26 yr old young buck.

If this team wants to win and contend with the likes of the Spurs and Mavs, then Stro will NOT be our starting 4 next year.

I am not going to defend Stro. He is what he is. But if anybody thinks Juwan is a contributing member of this team, you're off your rocker. He's a huge liability and a huge negative on the floor with Yao. He's the worst starting PF in the whole league and it's not even close.

Sad thing is i don't see who we could replace Howard with. I'm actually desperate enough to entertain the thought of Tim Thomas. One one end he'd be a great addition, but 4rebs a game from a PF?

We could draft Shelden Williams, but i'd rather use the pick on Ronnie B.
If TT could grab at least 7 rebs a game, he'd be perfect. Rockets would have to guarantee him minutes and shots and convince him that he won't see any time in Phoenix once Amare and Kurt come back, well not as many anyway...are we that desperate to replace Howard?
