Yeah, this is a little forced, but what about this: Cuttino Mobley for Corey Maggette Sean Rooks Possible Draft Pick I think the Rockets should do this because: 1. Maggette doesn't need the ball all the time 2. Maggette can play defense 3. Maggette can rebound Maggette is of course no slouch on the offensive end either. Rooks is an expiring contract who comes along for salary cap reasons. I think the Clippers would go for this because: 1. Cat is a relatively low-priced star (picture Sterling's face at that) 2. Andre Miller isn't really a scorer, so Mobley would most likely work well with him 3. The Clippers don't have a clear go-to guy right now, and Mobley would become the go-to guy immediately
-Maggoty is more of a sf. -Maggoty isn't that good of a shooter -Maggoty is in the last year of his contract I believe and might want big $$$(more than he's worth) -Maggoty is playing with an injured knee right now, and might go under the knife when Odom comes back. -Mobes > Maggoty -Clipps have their starting sg in Q(who has been injured so far this year). have a good backup in Piat. -Mobes would not become more of a goto guy for them than Brand, Miller, or mebbe even Kandi with how he's been playing. probly more too.
We can do better than Corey Maggette. I hope we can get someone better for a 2 guard that puts up solid numbers. I bet the Clippers don't have anyone avg 20pts a game.
