    News
Clippers forward/center Chris Wilcox not only lost his starting job over the weekend, he also played just four minutes on Tuesday against the Jazz. Instead, it was Chris Kaman starting in the center spot and playing 36 minutes. "Everything we do from a standpoint of substitutions has really more to do with our defense and rebounding," Dunleavy told the Los Angeles Times. "That's a big key for him…If you're not defending, if you're not rebounding, we'll make a move."

Why do we want someone who can't play defense or rebound?

He's averaging more boards right now than Taylor ever has in his career (double checked - Taylor did avg 0.7 more in 1999-00 as a Clip).

True but, it's not that he hasn't in the past, just for whatever reason, he's not as of right now... Besides would you take Chris Wilcox over Mo or JH, ummm, I would... not sure about his salary, but it's cheaper than those 2.

    6' 10" 230 lbs. 22 yrs. old

    2004 LAC 21 Gs, 27.1 M, 51.1 FG %, 66.7 FT %, 1.5 OR, 4.1 DR, 5.7 RPG, 0.8 Blks, 11.6 PPG

    Not bad...

as JVG said on 610 yesterday you're either a rebounder or you're not & i agree.

JVG mentioned some attributes needed to be a good rebounder Ex: nose for the ball & fearlessness of contact

my older brother is only 5'9" & consistently outrebounds others taller than him...... granted it is against week-end warriors...... & when watching it happen i always notice DESIRE. He just wants it more!

that attitude is not teachable & if Wilcox isn't doing it now "it ain't never gonna happen"

Regardless of personal philosophy, 12 and 6 in 20 isn't that bad IMO... In a different system with different players, who knows, it could go up or down...

And you use Maurice Taylor as your barometer for a rebounder why?

Mo is playing way below his all time average right now. 20+ games into the season, he's shown no sign of life. We just cannot do any worse than that.

You're right rim, my bad, but look at the comparison of our 2...

Mo is 7 and 5 in 26 and JH is 7 and 4 in 20...

12 and 6 in 27 may or may not start the PF healing process for us, we'll see...

Plus if we're able to get rid of a few bloated contracts somehow...:D
