It was grim at first, but on my sixth try, the Rockets finally got into the top three... with the NUMBER ONE PICK...
I'm having way too much fun with this Clutch... ;-)

Took me about a dozen tries to crack the top three (I also got the number 1 pick!).

Looks like we might have a better chance of moving DOWN to number 7 than to move up to the top three (as a result of someone behind us moving up and bumping everyone else back).

Sometimes, I find myself staring at it blankly and clicking it over and over like a mouse begging for a piece of cheese.

    Mmmmmmmmmmmm...cheese.

"Hey Clutch, is this thing rigged?"

Whoa, um .... (deny everything) .... I swear I was nowhere near it at the time of the infraction. [IMG]

Actually it's not rigged.... works beautifully actually. I still have some minor issues -- like tiebreakers -- but I'm working on that. It's just the Rockets have a semi-decent shot believe it or not. They're the 6th oveall slot -- they have 64 ping pong balls in the generator. You'll notice if you run it several times that Chicago (250), LA Clippers (200) and Vancouver (150+) will be in the top 3 quite a bit.

I think its awesome. I got the #2 pick on the first try. That was good enough for me ... just hope the Rockets luck is as good.

    Team W L PCT # Balls
    1. LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 14 53 .209 200
STRENGTHS: Live close to the Lakers. WEAKNESSES: These are the Clippers, where even Billy Crystal is considering signing elsewhere as a free agent. They'll need replacements for both PF Maurice Taylor and SG Derek Anderson, both likely to leave this offseason.
    2. Houston Rockets 24 41 .369 64
STRENGTHS: Backcourt of Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley and Shandon Anderson. WEAKNESSES: The Rockets' most pressing need has to be help in the front court, especially at the 3 and 4 where Walt Williams and Carlos Rogers/Kenny Thomas may not be the long term solutions. They need big bodies.

    3. Chicago Bulls 13 52 .200 250
STRENGTHS: Elton Brand should man the PF position for years. WEAKNESSES: Chicago needs everything, with the exception of a power forward. With that top pick they wouldn't opt for Martin... it appears they eye UT's junior center Chris Mihm.
