I heard this snot nosed 15 year old at Starbucks today complaining about how the blu-ray in his probably 3000 dollar laptop wont play movies any more and how terrible life is without it and moaning and whining about how he will survive the flight he will take later that day. I kindly approached he and his sister and said "when I was your age all I had to play with was a stick with a wheel on it". I didnt turn around to see their confusion but I am 25, so I am sure they were confused. Professionalism is dead. As someone who is starting a business I went to a lawyer a few days back to get them to draw up contracts. This lawyer was unprofessional. Scratching his sack openly, using the foul language, and referred to his Latina secretary as Lupe, even though that was not her name. I also met with a bank loan officer who began to make fun of my choice of pet, asking me if my business catered to a certain group of men that indulge in the fruits of other men because of the kind of dog I own. Never make reparations jokes during RA Sushi Happy Hour. You may offend 70% of their patrons and they will let you know their displeasure.
Back in my day we didn't have fancy new-fangled video games or blu-ray players. We created our own fun doing massive quantities of drugs and having unprotected sex.

I thought that was the norm for the Hangout, in fact it's sole purpose...? The only things the rouse the smallest bit of discussion here are: women's bodies, bowel movements, bathroom habits, which of the two major computer/software manufacturers has the biggest e-penis and how that transfers onto you depending on which of the two you happen to own, and fast food... Posts that add nothing to discussion, and only serve to be subjects of ridicule: mlwoo friday afternoon/night/whatever stories... fatty fatbastard drunk threads... chow yun fat vivi threads... in fact 90% of all relationship threads... threads titled, "what's the longest you've last", "crackheads gone wild"... "in this thread every post must have a picture"... countless new threads whose OP starts and ends with no more than youtube video, with the sometimes "NSFW" tag added... submitted precisely for the purpose to point and laugh... personally, I get this reaction from 60% of the music threads here... in fact, if the members that frequent this sub-forum tend to complain when there's too much of the former, and not enough of the latter...
You forgot the rash of internet memes that most of us find amusing, until Manny Ramirez starts using them... signifying a colossal jumping of the shark.
