Yates or Schaub if it comes down to it?

This is a hypothetical right? Schaub can't come back.

 

If Yates wins 2-3 playoff games and gets us to the superbowl, then it would be silly to sit him...the guy would have obviously earned the right to play in the big game.

And at that point, we'd have a true QB controversy on our hands.

 

Why can't you people just enjoy the fact that yates is playing well without tearing down schaub at the same time? why waste your breath on a non-issue?

I picked Yates, because if he gets to the superbowl than he has earned it... But this whole Yates is so awesome, Schaub sucks thing that I keep listening to on the radio is r****ded. I know it happens in every city when the backup plays well but it's just funny how short term peoples memories are. There's no doubt in my mind that if Schaub could come back right now we'd be better off.

I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

If not....there's no coming back...he's on IR. IIRC.

Yates is a rookie qb that has started(and played well in) two nfl games, talking about him taking us to the superbowl and surplanting schaub as the QB next year, at this point, is silly.

Isn't this like asking "If the Rockets start the season 30-0 do you still trade KMart and Scola for Gasol?" Or "If the Astros make the playoffs do you still want them to build through the farm?"
