here is my list 1) dream shake vs Pacers 2) behind back pass vs ??? 3) 3 pointer vs GSW 4) On your face dunk over Theo Raliff vs Hawk 5) One handed throw down Ally Opp from Steve Francis vs ??? 6) drive from the 3 point line shake off defender vs Magic 7) double teamed and spin move for a dunk vs Sun 8) 2 consecutive blocks vs Hawk 9) one handed touch pass to Steve Franics vs ?? 10) Rice throw a pass to Yao, Yao catch on air pass back to a wide open Rice under basket vs Pacers
That block Yao had on Antonio Davis that was called a foul rivals any of Hakeem's. Worst call in NBA history...
yeah didn't he pretty much meet the ball while it was still in AD's hand, and then just spike it down to the floor something freakin nasty. such a BS call. at least we still won the game and it didn't cost us.
coolpet, I think #5 came in the Rockets second road game at Seattle. And how can anyone forget Yao's swiping touch pass cross court to Steve against the Kings (the first time they came to Houston). coolpet, your #2 may be the one I described above.
He actually did it 3 times. Once to Moochie, Mobley, and Francis. The first 2 converted, and Francis was fouled.
i have to say one of the top ones was during the second laker game when yao dunked the game winner after a francis dish. sweet victory, and that play was the cherry on top
Yao's passes wowed me more than the dunks. Especially that sweeping bowl-pass to Steve against the Kings. Oh - also in that game, the dribble in for the dunk in Vlade's mug was priceless. That move against the Pacers - ah cha chee!! Also...don't forget Yao singlehandedly won that game. He was money down the stretch (in other words, he was the go-to player unlike a -cough- certain Rookie of the Year.
after kobe dunked on him. he immediately came back down the other end, demanded the ball, spun baseline and threw it down the the 2 handed dunk and silenced the crowd. beautiful
My favs were the Olajuwanisque dream shake vs the Pacers, and the Shaqisque back down on Big Ben. If he can ever play like those two moments at a consistent basis, then we are up for a few championships.
