Who's on the USA team? I'm pretty sure non of those guys are in the NBA right now. So why are you calling them "All Stars?"

Isn't there a boxscore on the internet from a local sports website like Sina or whatever? Find a roster, I want to see who is on the team because it isn't even mentioned on the USA Basketball website.

I would not use the word "all-star" to describe that group of cast-offs playing for the US. The US would whoop China's butt as usual if they sent the good players.

I'm quite sure none of us here would..the two players on that list I am familiar with...Polynice and Livingston..were role players with one dimensional games IIRC..

I think that squad would have trouble beating King James' HS squad..with James sitting on the bench..
    ;)

That's pretty bizarre... has he been possessed by aliens??
Yao looks happy. Good sign. (at least not a bad sign!)

If you watched any of last year's World Championships at Indy, then you would know the Chinese style is not inside out post play. They work the ball a lot on the perimeter. Yao does not get that many touches on the CNT. It's not the 17 points that are important...it's the number of shots...which were probably low and that's a good thing.

The key stat is that China won. Don't you think that the U.S.'s defense revolved around stopping Yao? I would say that he was constantly triple-teamed.

Yao only has 1 and a half eyebrows now, hopefully it won't effect his game, maybe he can get a transplant later.

As I expected, Yao Ming has not added any move in his offensive arsenal since June. His only effective move is his turnaround jumper. Check this:
    http://sports.sina.com.cn/s/2003-07-28/02319594s.shtml

Because of added weight, Yao is slower. What a waste.

2002: June to Sept. 3 month wasted
2003: June to Oct. 4.5 month wasted

If he continues playing with/against players who are not as talented, he will not improve much. 18 pts/game, 10 reb/game will probably be the peak.
