    Translation in a nutshell:

Yao Ming is getting really tired in the last two weeks or so. His shooting percentage went down quickly. He asked his dad in Shanghai to go to see his sports doctor he has been seeing since 1995. Dr. Wei gave several bags of herb medicine to Yao Ming's dad to bring from Shanghai to Houston. (His dad came back to Houston the night before the New Orleans game, which coincided with Rocket's ending of a 3-game losing streak.)

Dr. Wei claims that he has contributed to Yao Ming's growth and flexibilities during the years by his services. When Yao Ming started seeing him in 1995, his height was only 2.13 meters. He grew another 10 cm in three years. "He could feel growing when he was lying in the bed."

Dr. Wei said that Yao Ming takes only his nutritional medicine. He claims that Yao Ming's shooting percentage drop was not due to any technical reasons but a reflection of a lack of a nutritional "element" in his system. He predicted that Yao Ming's shooting percentage would significantly increase within 20 days of using what he prescribed.

    My comment:

Well, Dr. Wei was wrong. It seems that his prescription became effective within 24 hours!

How about share that medicine with the rest of the team? And make sure that it does not get into the hands of Shaq and others!

I wish I had those herbs when I was growing up. Then, maybe I wouldn't be so vertically challenged.

Man, I hope this stuff has been cleared with the NBA League offices. The last thing I want to find out is Yao violating drug policies... lol.

Doesn't Shaq do acupuncture with some Chinese doctor? I think Stevie does it too.

Anyways, Yao was already very tall when he was like 2 years old.

I was looking for the previous thread in which the author noted that Yao should develop or perfect his hook shot. I think it was more than five pages old.

Remember Kareem Abdul Jabbar's unstoppable sky hook that gave Darryl Dawkins numerous nightmares?

I was thinking, even if Yao Ming doesn't get more than 35 minutes a game this season, if he could just realize with Rudy Tomjanovich the potency of the hook shoot combined with his height. But if, for the remainder of the regular season, what if Yao Ming borrowed Kareem's patent to the hook shot and brought that weapon to Houston?

Wow, two sure points every time Yao Ming can establish his position in the paint. With this plus Francis and Mobley, I think the Rockets can indeed be the dark horse of the West, barring injuries to Francis and Yao Ming.

So it will take time before Glen Rice's shot comes back, or before Maurice Taylor works himself to the shape prior to his injury.
Please Rocket fans, tell Rudy Tomjanovich to work on that Yao weapon that's already in his arsenal.

It's not a secret anymore. Why reinvent the wheel? Just use it more often.
