there are two things that yao needs to learn how to do.

quit waiting for the got damn double/triple team to rush him. quit giving the got damn person guarding him time to get in a defensive position. as soon as he catches the ball he needs to do something with it and FAST:

    1. develop a move where he catches the ball in the post position and lets the momentum of the ball carry him to a fall-away jumper on the base line. AS SOON AS HE CATCHES THE BALL! we've seen him do a variation of the move where he spins to the base line for an up and under layup, but still... he doesn't even to that one often enough and he needs to dunk it instead anyway.

    2. develop a move where he catches a ball in the post, quickly make a move to the key as if he's going up for some sort of shot, and then kick the ball out to someone on the three point line where they pass it around until someone is open. of course he has to actually take a shot from the key at some point to keep the defense honest.

the dude's scouting report is one sentence long now. "fade away jumper from 15 feet out after doing 7,215,937 pump fakes." that's ALL.

yao quit settling for what the defense gives you and TAKE WHAT YOU WANT!

O/S:- Yao Ming is not at the point where he can just take what he wants! Its going to take a lot of coaching and thats where Moses Malone comes in! We need to push on Yao Mings behalf for the Rockets to use Moses, because we dont have anyone on the present coaching staff able to develop Yao Mings game.
