Yao post his thought in his own website and here is the link and translation.

Now the result is out, it¡¯s the Lakers. If you ask me yesterday who I want to play in the first round and I would say the King. If we play the King then I don¡¯t need to bang with Shaq. But we cannot choose. This match up reminds me the last year in CBA of China. When we saw the Army lost their first game we hoped they would be eliminated in the first round. But in the final we faced the Army. Just like to win the championship in China you must face the Army, in NBA if you want to go deep in the west (not to mention the championship) you have to play the Lakers, Spur or other good teams. I think a team of champion doesn¡¯t care whom to play because their goal is to stump on any teams. I think someday we will.

This reminds me when Yao heard the Barkley said Yao can not score more 20 points in the first season, he said now I can only score 19 point the most. But in his mind he determined to slap on Barkley's face. I think Yao will show us some good match with the Lakers. Let's see.
