    The second opinion will be regarding surgery or not. That will not change the fact that his foot is fractured. The second opinion will be what is his best option as far as not having issues with that foot again. It wil be 4 months no matter what

    A smith said he's still undecided to have surgery or not. Yao wants to play in the Beiging olympic really bad but having surgery could prevent this. Rest is the second option. He won't be fully healthy, but he can play a limited role. I hopes its the latter...its our only hope we will see him play again in the playoff. Again, thats what smith said after talking to someone close to yao.

    I seriously doubt Yao would come back for a limited role in the playoffs and risk missing the Olympics. That would be stupid, IMO. He's done for the season.
