I would have put this in the game thread but I feel it deserves its own thread.

Right before the game, ESPN's C. Dominguez informed us that Dampier told her that Yao has a medical problem and that is why he has the mind boggling stamina issues. Miss Dominguez said she contacted the Rockets and they denied it. Where on earth could Dampier have gotten that information?

I can't imagine Yao has had some secret medical condition that no one has made public all these years.

It's not like his stamina issues are a secret, if the Rockets had something to point at as the cause, I think they'd just admit it, if only to aleve some of the criticisms of Yao. Also, if it was serious, it'd be a good justification for not giving him a max contract. Keeping it a secret doesn't seem to help them at all.

Yao's condition is known as "vaginal yeast infection." It comes and goes but mostly shows up at inopportune times. ;)

That's Dampier talking smack about Yao.

That was a smart ass sarcastic comment by Dampier the best center in the West.

Not true--that was a quote by Dampier in one of the Dallas papers--
saying something like the key to stopping Yao is to make him run up and down the court since he gets tired easily due to his medical condition...

He's an idiot I think he meant stamina problems-which isn't exactly a medical condition...

I can't believe some of u guys took what Dampier said about Yao's medical condition seriously. Dampier just tried to get into Yao's head. and to be honest with u, I think Yao has takend noticed of Dampier's insult. Watch out for Yao. He will try to eat Dampier alive if he has the chance.

I think its called sevenfootsixthreehundredpluspound syndrome. Its known to strike extremely tall and extremely heavy individuals causing them to have difficulty running extremely quickly over long periods due to an inordinate amount of size and height.

The officials screwed over Yao royally and he STILL put up better numbers Dampier. Like always. Listen Damp, you can run Yao up and down the floor all you want, it won't change the fact that you're still Yao's b*tch. Always have been, always will be. The only medical issue is treating Dampier's @ss after every game against Yao Ming.

hey guys i cant exactly remember which article i read it in but it did say something about how yao's height hinders his cardiovascilar (sp?) system and that is why he has stamina issues.
I believe it was in the article where they interviewed falsone during his workouts with yao during the preseason.
