    Hi

What's your expectation of yao's performance during these few months? When was the most optimistic time(up)? When was the most pessimistic time(down)? How about now?

    Up:
I think it's now. I have watched 3 yao's games only. I have never had any doubts of his offensive game. But from what i heard from u guys, he has defensive game and rebounding skills as well NOW. I think he will be all star player in his nba career.

    Down:
after first few games, I hoped people just wrote him off so that he could catch up slowly. I thought he needed 1 or 2 seasons to become a decent nba player. I still thought he could be a 14ppg and 8rpg player at that time.

    Now:
    See Up above.

When I saw Yao this summer I knew he'd be good eventually.

When he came into camp, especially after the San Antonio preseason game, I thought it might take awhile. I particularly remember MoT's comments about the Spurs waiting until the playoffs, and thinking that it was a bit optomistic.

Now, however, I see a player who has adapted more over a 20 game stretch than most NBA players do durring their entire career. At this moment, I have trouble assigning a definate limit to how good he can be. He's adjusted better than any NBA player I've ever seen.
