Did anyone notice Yao rubbing his back when he was setting up on defense in the second half? Someone wrote that Sina reported that he was having back pains? Not to rain on the parade after the great win today, but does anyone have any more detail on this? Pryuen?

Me thinks Yao was just so darn bored with toying with the Clippers frontline, he just thought he'd participate in a little Chinese self massage. :D

shiat, Yao's back now. This thing is contagious among superstars.
BTW, you should not start a thread with only speculative information. It scared shiat out of me.

Maybe it was his secret way of complaining about how he gets pushed in the back everytime he posts up. Prolly just trying to get the refs attention.

He is probably just sore from that saddle he is wearing that the rest of the team is riding.

Well, he ate something on Saturday in LA that made him sick in the stomach. But he played and dominated in the game with LA Clippers.

As for the "back", it was reported on sina.com, he was bumped in the waist during the game. He felt discomfort after the game. He went for a massage treatment for 10 ~ 15 minutes before attending the post game press conference.

Hope it would not affect him.

well he does get elbowed in the back every play with no foul call.

maybe it's just a bruise. nothing that a warm compress can't handle.

Let's hope that, just like with the game itself, he got a happy ending. :D

The most important thing is getting some relief, like a sigh (thigh) of relief.
