After the game last night: Asked if he was nervous, Yao cracked a joke through an interpreter, saying, "My face just looks like that. It doesn't mean I'm nervous." This guy is better than Yogi Berra.
I think Ming has a great sense of humor. Yogi, on the other hand, didn't have a clue he was being funny.
Hey OS, Maybe it's a good idea to compile all the Yaoisms. You'll make a few buck publishing it 20 years from now when he retires.
My favorite was "we are going to beat him up". Oh wait that classy comment came from somebody else. I am quite leary of Ming, (feeling better all the time) but one thing I look forward to is the absence of stupid, "I'm so macho", "$60,000,000 is an insult", "I did it for my family", type of remarks. Remember how fresh Akeem was during and fresh from school. "I just love to donk and donk and donk."
That is a great idea. Maybe I'll get Yao to sign an autograph on the bottom of a blank sheet of paper. Then I'll type on the upper half: I hereby give Old School permission to use my quotes as the content of a book to make him a ton of money. os
