With all the varied comments concerning Yao this coming season, lets see what the numbers say.

16-7....but only because they limit his minutes early in the season, by the end of the season....post February, I expect 19-9 from him.

Hate to be a "Debbie Downer" but I think he comes back strong then breaks down near the end of the season.

I'm with DD. I expect quite similar efficiency numbers but considerably less playing time - until the playoffs at least.

For what its worth, im not trying to jinx him. But its hard to tell with over 100+ pages of Rockets postings to get a grip on what the consensus is.

I wish for option 1), voted on 3).

The poll options don't work for me. What if I think he'll be a 17/8 guy (as you offered) but only give him 70% possibility at the playoffs...or any other number of possibilities.

Of course, polls can only offer so many choices. I'm just not sure you should have tied in two factors that really have little to do with one another.

I did the best I could. Their are limitations on what scenarios one can offer. My first thread and poll btw.

This, reduced stats due to reduced minutes. I hope they reduce his minutes at least!!!

The first month or two certainly. But at some point everyone, including Yao, will want to know if he can play extended minutes. Im not saying 40+, but 32-36 perhaps.

This is more of a prediction then a expectation.

I think he will start off slow at the start of the season and then get back to his 20/10 form at the end of the season.

I don't care what type of numbers he put up as long as he doesn't get hurt again I'm happy.
