sniff, sniff...almost brought a tear to my eye. All reports, signs, indications, etc. point to Yao being aggressive and having a big year.
vunny1408, Nice Finding!!! I know that Yao had 7 dunks in this game. Could you find the other 6 for us? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You are GOD!!!
The Yellow Plague is here, famine and flood will be the next. Repent people, repent! When the world ends, you'll all be judged. Repent!
[ I knew this trick already. But the video just shows another dunk of Yao. How about the other 5? Is there any alley-oop dunk?
Catch-dribble-turn-two steps-dunk. Textbook power move. If people call that a travel, then there is no legal moves.
BTW, are glasses these days always unbreakable? I know Shaq broke bunch of glasses coming into the league. Yao, with his 300 pounds, will sooner or later break something if they are breakable.
This is not a "two steps" situation when you are in the post. You get one pivot foot. Yao dribbled once, pivoting on his right foot, picked up his dribble, then promptly switched pivot feet to his left when he spins and slams it. I'm not saying it is something that will be called often in the NBA, but I'm pretty sure it is a travel by the rulebook. I just hope he doesn't get anymore rookie no-calls this season like he did last year. He was allowed to hook a little more than he should have been on that baseline spin move of his, but he was also beaten up hardcore every night with few to no fouls being called on him. I hope he gets a little fairer shake this coming year.
Thank you for the explaination. I am not sure if you are right on this one. Does the rule apply differently when the player is in the paint? Well, I might be wrong, as I often am.
