    same. it still bugs me greatly to this day.

    man I was kinda not a fan of that trade proposal at the time...but

    TMAC FOR BILLUPS AND PRINCE WOULD HAVE BEEN AWESOME!!!

    One of the big mistakes of the Morey era.

    sometimes I think whether the neat small moves such as getting Landry is even mentionable when you think he failed at big moves thats actually much much more significant to the team such as Gay for Battier and Tmac for Billups

    It was never, ever, ever billups and prince. It was the same deal they got for iverson and everyone and their mama knew mcdyess was going back. So basically it was billups for tracy. Or maybe morey wouldve kept mcdyess instead of releasing him like the nuggetts did. If they make that deal, then that allows them to trade rafer for something or maybe they draft differntly, but it was never tracy for prince and billups.This is know.

    It was never more than a rumor never included Billups and Prince. It was Hamilton and Mcdyess.

    dude...so what never happened? so every trade that doesnt go through will never be labelled as a mistake because no trade went down???

    so I guess rejecting trades will never be mistakes because we never know the trade happened...

    feigen once said in his blog that the deal invloved billups had a very short window. it's not like it's on the table all the time, and it wasn't dumas who called (whatever that means). he also said that there was something in the deal we could absolutely not accept (wonder what it was).

    ppl need to get over it.

    (now think about it, we had a chance to draft mj.)

    I doubt TMAC would have passed the physical. It was kept under wraps how bad off he really was.
