Yao Ming, Houston Rockets We don't know much about Ming, but one thing is certain: he'll spend a lot of time on the pine with foul trouble while the refs check out his game to see if he's the next Shawn Bradley, and that process will probably make his initial skirmishes with O'Neal into the most overhyped, overrated matchups of the season. Everything else is a crapshoot — Ming seems to have some strength and skills, but adjusting the NBA schedule will be a killer for him, and don't be surprised if nagging injuries put him on the injury list for a month or two. The Rockets will be entertaining, but the combination of a soft front line and a difficult learning curve will have even the titanic Ming fighting an uphill battle by the All-Star break.
Wow......that prediction seems accurate Yao's arms are bulking up. That's probably also why his shots are off a little bit.
