I've been watching a lot of Rockets games and Yao does get the occasional 30 point game and consistently scores in the 20s, but today I think for the first time I've seen someone really dominate a game, let alone Yao Ming.

Now Z and Varejao aren't the best big men defenders but still, this is the best defensive team in the league and today I saw a truly dominating performance by Yao. His production fell off after the first half of the 4th but Yao got the ball on every play, pounded it in the post and drew fouls. He had 12 free throw attempts in that quarter (and made every single one of them). Yao drew like 6 fouls on free throws and I remember another foul was called on Varejao. Yao had 14 points in the 4th quarter. Yao truly got the ball and scored. It was not a 30 point game with a jumphook and some free throws every other play. He got the ball and he scored.

Sadly, Rockets missed a couple of open 3s at critical moment. We did have a chance to win or the refs had to do more to stop us.

Well, according to the Cavs poll you are wrong. Big Z is supposedly the best big man in the game sorry.

Im not too dissapointed. There was some bad officiating ...it happens. Yao didnt get to play as much as a result from that. If he did....it wouldve been ours. No excuses though...on to the next game.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!
