hey guys i dont post much here but just had some notes on yao's condition that i thought i would pass off. My dad works for Memorial Hermann for the Ortho/Trauma department and is very close with the rockets doctors. He talked to Yao"s main physician who said yao's condition isnt serious and that he should have a full and healthy recovery and be back to the same old yao again. the fracture takes time to heal but it is non displaced and shouldnt affect his performance once healed. Yao is working hard to come back and soon should start therapy within a few weeks. anyways dont shoot the messenger just thought yall would like to know......
This is great news Steefrancis. I would just like to point out that there is a thread dedicated to Yao Ming, and I think you should post this information there as well since everyone seems to read it as soon as there is an update. Love the news though. Good to know we have messengers around that can help the bbs posters settle down a bit. People tend to get moody at times, which I don't blame them.

I don't think all these updates should all go in a single thread, personally. This is an ongoing subplot to the season, and it's pretty significant. Why push them all into a monster-size thread? It's harder to find information if you have to read through 20+ pages of Yao updates.
