I have a friend who lives in Houston, that is an acquaintance of Keith Jones. He tells me that Yao is out for the rest of the season - they are shutting him down for the next few games to ready him for the playoffs. It is just a precautionary measure. You heard it here first. That is all.

Thread title is deceptive; possibly deliberately so.

Hmm, is this really a reliable source? I'll go with it though, it would make sense. I mean it's only two games BUT we really need to win these two games. Without Yao, I don't know if we will be able to win.

thank you Adelman, your recent stupid experiment with Yao has failed. Know you know Yao has trouble playing 1 1/2 quarter of basketball straight. Yes he does get tired and sore.

This could cause us to move down in the rankings- if it is true, that is! :p

The title needs to be changed to "Yao possibly out until playoffs."

And why should the Rockets use the word "precautionary." It's not a precaution if they're planning on keeping him out of two very important regular season games. If this is true, I think that means its a real problem.

    Thanks for the info.

But fxxk you for the title. My heart sank when I first read you title. It is not wrong, but too misleading.

first of all, please think a LITTLE more when posting a title like that. if you have a pulse you understand that people are going to be terrified with that title. regardless, thank you for the information if it turns out to be true. i really hope that it is precautionary.
