They need to bring them back slowly...all of them....ONE at a time to allow the team to find and keep their chemistry.

it'd be nice to have him, but i dont really care, my expectations are low from yao and thats good because i cant handle another heartbreaking news that he will be out for the season. :( :(

I can't handle him being on the team anymore. I looked and saw how Yao fell, my conclusion is Yao saw he could not play and is stalling just long enough to come up with another injury so he does not have to play for another stretch. I think point I think the guy cannot physically play basketball and is a loser trying to snatch up $17million.

Really think they should bring him off the bench.

That way he can get healthy and up to speed against folks 2nd Unit.

So tired of hearing this. I won't be surprised and disappointed anymore on his retiring news.

I pray to God we don't resign Yao Ming after this season.

Half a decade of injuries and counting.

They should bring him slowly. Give him plenty of time to rest and heal. No need to rush.

    2017 sounds reasonable.

this is no surprise as doctor said he would be out minimum one week, as long as we're still winning why are so much pessimism??Give him another two to three months, and we start from there to make judgement.

It's done alright? Yao averages more than 5 seconds to make a move in the post with the ball which is horrific for this level of basketball, and on defense he provides almost nothing that a card board cut out could not do.

Sad to say but I have given up on Yao being able to contribute anything to the team this season. I had hoped that things would be different this season but it does not look good so far. Seeing him in that leg boot does not look good.

wouldn't that make it harder b/c you have to integrate a new player every time?

I can think of $17 million worth of reasons and 1.4 billion YOF's of why this may be blow out of proportions. ;)

AB and CB are different than Yao's situation. Yao has missed huge chunks of the season for the last several years and is our "franchise" player. All he does is ride pine and collect a check.
