Hey guys! Just heard the Simpsons will have a special during halftime at Superbowl 2005, and Yao Ming will be a guest voice, along with Lebron James, Warren Sapp, and Michelle Kwan. HERE'S THE ARTICLE-- THE LINK IS AT THE END OF THE ARTICLE-- Friday 16th July, 2004 'Simpsons' set for upcoming halftime show Big News Network.com Friday 16th July, 2004 Fox is planning a special edition of The Simpsons with a lineup of sports stars for its 2005 Super Bowl halftime show, Daily Variety said Thursday. The paper said the network would announce that Michelle Kwan, LeBron James, Yao Ming and Warren Sapp would appear in the special, called Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass. The storyline has Homer inventing a wildly popular dance, and then being hired by top athletes to teach it to them to use as a victory dance. It all leads to a gig as Super Bowl halftime show choreographer. Homer gets his straight-laced neighbor Ned Flanders to help out, and the result -- said Variety -- is a nonviolent, deeply meaningful halftime show that America chastises for its blatant display of decency. The idea is meant as a joke on CBS' halftime show last February, in which Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction left her right breast exposed and the nation worked up about broadcast decency standards. http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/?sid=76cbe3802de67624
