Did anyone besides me notice that against the Kings Yao would constantly post up out of position.....pass it back out to the guard.... and re-establish GREAT position... only to get the ball in the area where nobody can stop him.............

Shaq has been doing this for years. I read an article about 3 years ago where Shaq said that when his defender is guarding him while he has the ball in the post. When he kicks it back out to the wing, the defender takes a 1 secong sigh of relief that he doesn't have the ball anymore, and that's when he re-establishes a lower post position and the wing gets it back into the unstopable area............

I hope Yao continues to do this........

It's been done for ages by other centers before Shaq, but yes it's a good strategy to have. Basically it helps establish better position in the block without having to dribble and risk those high bounces from our big guy being knocked out into a TO and keeps any double teamers on their toes to either commit to Yao and allow an open jumper.

I especially like it when Yao re-posts and posterizes
