Personally I have not seen Yao play a whole game, I have seen highlights and part of the Bayi Rockets vs. Sharks game. So I have no right to make a decision based on that. What I'am tired of is seen people post threads like "Yao sucks" and there is really no reason why they say he sucks. If the Rockets clear things up with China I see no other problems drafting this guy. He is surely an upgrade from Cato. Even if Ming doesn't turn out to be a "star" he still will be better than 20 other centers in the league. Why draft or trade for small forwards when you can get those at any time, there will be plenty in next years draft or we can trade for one. Centers are very rare now days. Plus Griffin can play some 3. We must trust Rudy and CD as I'am sure have seen a hell of alot more tapes than anyone on this board and actually seen his workout. GM's around the league want Yao, what does that tell you. If you are gonna say Yao sucks at least tell us why you think he sucks. Ahem... (enough whining).....thank you.

Yes, that is also the reason people shouldn't be saying he is going to be a badass... Anyways good points, I hope Rudy and CD make the right decision. If they cant get an examination and workout however, I say forget him. If we could get Odom as well as Yao, this would be a pretty nice summer.
