    Associated Press
KLAIPEDA, Lithuania -- Center Yao Ming scored 23 points in leading China's Olympic team over Sweden 87-63 in an exhibition game on Sunday.

Fredrik Jonzen led Sweden with 13 points. Fred Drains added nine points in his first game for Sweden, which did not qualify for the Olympics.

"We cut the deficit when Yao Ming went to the bench, when he came back they took the lead again," Sweden coach Jan Enjebo said.

    The Athens Olympics begin Friday.

Actually I haven't heard anything about the game here in Sweden. Basketball isn't so popular here and that's because we aren't any good at it... so sorry I can't give any match details... All I can say is that the swedish national team in basketball isn't good...

I think the game is held in Lituvnia(?).

I think Sweden isn't too bad, just there are too many good teams in Europe.

More, Bateer shot 5 for 6. Both Yao and Bateer were on the court for the first time in a while.

Here's a translation from a swedish morning paper match report:

Sverige stood hard against the giant Yao Ming

The Swedish national team played really good defense against the chinese giant 2,29 sm giant Yao Ming.
So he only did 23 points....
China beat Sweden with 87-63 in a exhibition game in Klaipida (Lithuania), but the swedish coach Jan Enjebo were satisfied anyway:
    - If we hadn't fight so hard he would have done 40 points.
    - When he wasn't on the floor we gained points but
then when he was back they gained their points again.
But I think we controlled the game in the second and the third quarter.

Ok I know the translation isn't the best but I did my best! enjoy!

I always appreciate a translation of foreign articles. It's a difficult thing to do and people's hard work deserves some recognition.
