The biggest opponent for the Chinese NT is South Korea. SK just started their NT training last Saturday. The Chinese NT team has 2 month already. What a waste of time!

 

If he can't use his left leg, he is not going to be able to play much.

 

That's really bad. Yao said his leg has been hurt for two months because of fatigue. He hoped he could get some much needed rest after Asian game. I really can't understand why the coach played him so many minutes in exhibition games.(Entire game in a 97-75 win this time.)

 

What can you say? The coach is an idiot who sacrifices the players' career for his own benefit. After all, whether his players have a career or not has no monetary implication for him.

 

Unfortunately The Rockets can't do anything about it either.

 

you mean to tell me they train and practice 2 months for a few asain games? thats ridiculous! imagine the Rockets having a 2 month training camp leading up to a 5 game tournament - guys would be burned out big time. thats a really stupid training method they have over there.

It's funny that people were complaining a year ago the Yao wasn't getting minutes and now he's getting minutes that people are complaining he's playing too much.

 

That article was written in Aug.10, and the journalist claims that Yao didn't know the Rockets training camp starts at Oct.3 and was told by him/her.

 

I for one think it's very disrespectful to use a YoYao quote for your sig...

 

A YoYao guote for a sig should be funny without the spelling and grammar mistakes. The mistakes add to the humor.

 

Yeah, I'm gonna use it until he comes up with another, which should be pretty soon. Besides, I can't think up of one, and all the other good YoYao quotes are taken.

i didn't trust them the minute i read the headline of the thread. A big load of crap is all it amounts to.

 

I wouldn't go that far. The news section of Sina.com.cn is a poll of articles from over 500 Chinese media outlets. Quality varies and discretion is needed. As an aside, this Yao article is from a no name Chinese newspaper.
