He's shooting 40% from 3 this year and STILL helping out the team night in and out on a bad knee and you guys still criticize him. What more do you guys want.

T-Mac usually checks in around late December/early January based on the last few seasons. Not coincidentally, that's also usually around the time the Rockets start their second-half-of-the-season tear.

... This year, that tear is going to be ridiculous...

Couldn't catch the game tonight. Why did T-Mac score only 6? He didn't shoot that bad. Letting everyone else play their games?

Yes pretty much. he only took shots when he was wide open.

yeh even though he scored just the 6 i thought he had a game... I would even say close to his best game on defense this year. He didn't really need to take over and score at all in this game... just be ready to hit jumpers if he was open on a yao pass.

    Awesome. Thanks.

That's good as long as we had everything under control. 6 points is pushing it though...

Glad to see Yao is playing strong again. And it's not against weak opposition only (balled up Howard too).

    Good things are coming hopefully.

Nothing is "pushing it" so long as we win. Not a damn thing.

That's all fine and dandy until you look at how much he is paid. Quite a hefty sum for a guy who is "helping out the team."

10-5 isn't THAT BAD, haha. We could easily have been 12-3 or 13-2, though. But with time, this team will be closing games out with a force, like they did in Washington.

There would be no reason not to run the offense through Yao tonight. This game is exactly how I expected for Yao to be in his prime.

T-Mac still has it when he needs it, in the playoffs he consistently scored 30 points. He played his heart out for this team, but right now we don't need him to do that. We want him to rest up and be able to do that when Yao has an off night. We need Artest to be a lockdown defender and knock down shots when called upon. I think the problem is that a lot of fans want Yao to get his 30 every night, T Mac to light it up and get 30, and artest to get 25. They would rather that than W's. Guess what, we don't need the stats. Look at the Celtics last year, very rarely did you see all 3 of their guys light up the stat sheet. Artest brings defense to the table, T mac brings scoring to the table, and Yao brings dominance and consistency to the table. Thats not even counting or supporting class... we have the pieces to be a very good team. Battier still isn't back, and we still are getting used to playing together...just wait till it clicks.

One thing I've noticed about Yao: he doesnt do a turnaround fade-away jumper much anymore recently. He goes strictly to that baby hook. Maybe it's just recently though. I don't care - as long as the team wins!

he passed up a ton of shots b/c everyone else was in rhythm. i think tracy's learning how to play with a lot of talent around him. in the 3rd alone, i remembered him pass up 3 wide open shots for others.

and yao's in a rhythm right now. tracy doesn't need to do too much. rafer's being aggressive. and artest is picking things up.

just take things easy and just playing within himself.

that's true, but he's still contributing for a guy who's still not fully there both physically and mentally (still not confident in that knee).

but you really pay a guy like this for the playoffs.

T-mac is playing averaged 30 mins per game and words said he was used too much. I sense he might need more time to recover from his knee surgery and strengthen his leg.

It is just 15 games. Still far away from the half season and not to mention how far away from the playoffs. Let T-mac save his energy for some other games and the playoff. Better in that way...

I am worried about Ron,though. It sounds werid for me to say that since people've been seeing him as a MONSTER OR BEAST on the court. Frankly, he is kind of injury-prone and we are playing him 39.1 mins averagely. hopefully, he could stick to be healthy.

That will be no regrets if big 3 are all being healthy for the whole season.

I like tmac's adjustment. He seems to be focusing on shooting open jumpers instead of driving alot to hurt his knee. thank god for the decent percentages.
