[rquoter] "They (the referees) were letting their big guys keep pushing me. I would say Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum fouled me 10 times. That's not fair," he said. "I know I'm big, but that's not my fault. They let them have two hands pushing on my back and keep pushing while I'm shooting the ball. I wish the league or somebody can help with this and look at the film. They don't let me do that, so why do they let them do it?"[/rquoter] http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=261215013 I didn't watch the game.. can someone provide some insight?
FINALLY!!! Screw the fines that will be impose on Yao. He's finally standing up to all the refs who've been screwing him all these years.
I am sure the laker bigs get away with murders againstYao. But they did a decent job guarding him though. Especially the Bynum kid sticks that hand out to bother Yao. Yao needs to protect the ball better and be more detetmined. Him waiting and then putting the ball on the floor just ask for troubles especially when he was crowded.
Dude, if the fouls are called those 2 are riding the pine and Yao is being guarded by Turiaf. He would have had 50 if they had called the fouls committed against him. And we would have won in a romp. Defense looks so much more effective when the fouls aren't being called.
JVG did his part. It's time for Yao himself to speak up. Not sure how it will turn out, though. If Yao doesn't get much respect on his team's own *official* BBS, what can you expect from the league officials?
that is great it was ridiculous the low number of free throws the rockets shot, i havent looked at the box score but i think maybe kobe shot more than than the entire team. yao was being mugged the entire game esp in the fourth and OTs and there was absolutely nothing called and then you see yao with five fouls on touch drives to the basket. i am glad it is yao who is screaming bloody hell now
JVG is getting poor bashing the referees for Yao the last few years. I guess is up to Yao himself to voice his opinon about the refs now. He's got enough money to talk some **** about the refs anyway. He should've done it long time ago.
The more blatant one to me was that Kwame hand check on Yao the last shot in first OT, that should've been two foul shots and the game would've ended there. They got away with murders, sure. But we got some on the lucky end too. They even out. For most of the night, the laker bigs guarded Yao pretty well like I said.
I rememer the ball got poked away from him several times. Not defending the Lakers, but bad refereeing tend to even out in the end.
Instead of wishing this and that Yao. Maybe you should get your point acrossed by clocking KB and AB on their chins.
Point blank. David Stern wont tolerate anyone to tell the truth about his referees. He thinks the tv commentators are the reason the fans complain about the refs.
