The driving duties fall to Colin Pine, whom everyone knows by now serves as Yao's interpreter. For the $250,000 per year that the Rockets are paying him, Pine also runs errands for Yao and occasionally joins Yao and his family for a home-cooked meal. Whoa!! Wasn't it Jeff who said this job was more about prestige than money?? $250 K... that's a sweet gig!
I met a friend of Colin Pine recently and commented to him that Colin will be able to cash it in big with book rights in the future. I mean, he has unparalleled access to Yao in the first year of his NBA career. He's totally set.
LOL, right on money! Even hire extra driver wont cost that much. $250k/year ??? Holy, everybody make big $$$ in NBA. haha, good.
Pine could sale books about him and Yao in the future and make literally millions. (if Yao becomes a true greats of the game) -G'day-
I think $250K sounds about right. I heard that Pine delayed law school for the job for Yao. Also, Yao's worth millions, even billions. No way, they pay $70K for Pine, $250K sounds right.
LOL. How many pages are in this playbook? That's Dream and Barkley on the cover with him, was that the last time he diagrammed a play? Just kidding folks!
