i checked out ***********.com msg boards and some say miller is better than yao.

what are you guys opinions and assessments?

i say yao because he played shaq well and shaq said yao will be the man. yao also gets double tripled team, is inconsistent, played with cutturnover and francis and still able to put up 17.5ppg.

    :)

Brad Miller is as good as he is going to get.
Yao Ming is already slightly better than him.

Yao Ming is double- and triple-teamed.
    Brad Miller is .5-teamed.

Ming is a better shooter, passer, and defender.

But Miller would be a great addition to any team.

Before my edit you could have read my opinion and assessment. However I have calmed down and taken out the asterix laden post.

I wonder how long it would take Sac town to mull over a Miller for Yao trade.....

Let's put it this way, if Sactown can have Yao for Miller, they'll pretty much have the trophy in the bag with their current lineup.

The expections for them are so different. No one expects Brad to carry a team, but Yao is supposed to carry us to a championship, so I think it is very difficult to compare them.

It's NOT about "Yao or Brad Miller?" it's about "Yao AND Brad Miller?" What a team! :D

Brad is a monster rebounder! Ask him if he wants a ring, or if he wants to stay in Sac?

Perhaps you didn't note the sarcasm in my post. Either way I don't know what you mean by it is hard to compare them. In a way it IS hard to compare them, not based on expectations, but on skill and physical attributes. Yao has more skill and more physical gifts, WAY more, period. I am not trying to compare them because they don't compare. Not that Miller is a completely **** player or anything but Yao is going to be spectacular. He has six inches and sixty pounds on Miller and he shoots just as good. He is a premier shot blocker and is only getting better. Now he has a legitimate outside presence to detract attention. Houston is going to carve a hole in Sac town's ass next year or I'll be damned!

Please do not post anymore about Brad Miller compared to Yao unless you are acknowledging the hilarity of that concept. There is not a single GM in the World that would not take Yao over Miller so let us not discuss who is better.

Another one of that MANY reason posts from other boards should NEVER be posted here.
