Yao Ming's nickname

I learned from sina's basketball forum(one of China's hottest basketball forum) that rockets fans are picking Yao Ming's nickname.Did you guys work it out?

I think you should consider if Yao Ming's nickname can be translated well into Chinese.After all,Yao Ming also belongs to us,hundreds of millions fans in China.

Great wall of Ming--defensive but not offensive.

Ming Dynasty--weird for a nickname,at least in Chinese.

Chairman Yao--Good,interesting,and it's also strong and arbitrary.But a little politically sensitive.I don't think Chinese narrators will use it.Imagine that narrators scream "Chairman,no good" "Chairman steal"...^_^ Chairman Jiang or Chairman Hu won't like that.Not mention that Chairman Yao is coming from Chairman Mao.China is more and more open.But when comes to politics,there are still many restricted areas.

Emperor--also a dominating nickname.But still politically sensitive.

Adolf Mingler--Jews will definitely protest and boycott. You know,they protest and boycott everything related to that name.

Yaozilla--Fantastic one.But hard to translate. " Ҧ˹À_ " Sounds not very excellent,only just acceptable.

Shanghai Shark--I don't like that.Why follow O'neal?Yao Ming is Yao Ming,he is unique.And he will surpass O'neal someday.

Is there any one better than these?

How about Lord Ming?--"Lord Ming,be the Lord of Ring".^_^

"crouching dragon"?--not hidden dragon.crouching dragon is also a nickname of Zhu Ge Liang,a very clever statesman in Han Dynasty.Remember Chu Ku Nu in Age of King?It was invent by Zhu Ge Liang.
