I mentioned in the game thread that Yao actually had 15 rebounds tonight, and the official scorer only credited him with 14. They missed the only offensive rebound Yao got when he caught it, and then while falling down shot the ball.... I have emailed Feigan, but don't know who else to email. It's not just about Yao getting his rebound. The stats won't add up if that missing rebound isn't accounted for but Yao is still credited with a field goal attempt.
Yeah, I am sure Yao loses 1 or 2 rebs and blocks once a while, esp when I check his stats see something like 5 or 6 boards logged. What's the big deal tonight, DD?

I would think he should be close to 10 after tonight's game. I am not tracking though. I was pissed when his teammates(cough*Howard*cough) took away his rebounds.
Without the missing rebound he is at EXACTLY 10 RPG....with the missing bound, it is 10.1....see the difference? I thought so !! DD

That's the play where Yao got hammered and threw up a put back while falling down.. No call.. and Yao was 'animated' with the no call Soon after, Yao got called for a BS touch foul while Shaq was posting up.. further drawing 'animation' from Yao.. Hope that helps..
