Just want to share this latest Reebok commercial of Yao Ming with you guys...... <object width="400" height="300"><param name="movie" value="http://www.tudou.com/v/f-VCMbAGtvM"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.tudou.com/v/f-VCMbAGtvM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="300" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object>
It was said this commercial was taken right before Big Yao had the surgery in early March. Can anyone confirm whether those scenes (the skyscrappers, the park, the stadium) belongs to Houston?
thats the park in front of toyota center. the very very very first building looks like the old Enron Building. and it looks like the inside of toyota center, but the paint is different.
Some behind-the-scene shots of Yao Ming making this commercial..... <object width="400" height="300"><param name="movie" value="http://www.tudou.com/v/BQxy0Vz4of4"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.tudou.com/v/BQxy0Vz4of4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="300" allowFullScreen="true" wmode="transparent" allowScriptAccess="always"></embed></object>
When I first saw this commercial, I thought most of the scenes were done by Computer Graphics, cos I don't know how can they get that many Chinese temps/stand-ins for the commercial in Houston.
I remember one time I went to the Rockets game during Yao's rookie year and saw the Yao's Fan Club almost filled half of the arena.
It's a cheap Rocky II ripoff... <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hsRRcGZiW9U&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hsRRcGZiW9U&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Funny how they show him dunking - as if a 7'6 man dunking is supposed to be impressive. He barely even jumps. Yes, the skyline is Houston. That's the 'new' Enron building in the first sequence.
Reebok shoes are horrible. A lot of their other stuff sucks as well. I am glad the NBA switched to adidas. Yao should, too.
Indeed a meaningful ad, thanks for sharing Pryuen. No wonder he was so unlucky to injuries...considering the negative power generated by those bandwagon fans here.
I am sad that Yao is still in contract with Reebok. Reebok sucks big time and contributes to Yao's repeated injury. So stop advertise Reebok here.
