I found a website that has all the games of China at WBC. I really want to see the game of China vs Turkey. But I cannot get it play. Can anybody try this and tell me if you can watch them? http://hownew.sportsol.com.cn/sshmorelanqiu.htm From the bottom to the top are: (you can see the pictures of each game at the right side) China vs Germany China vs Algeria China vs USA China vs Argentia China vs Russia China vs Turkey The final games There are four black cubes at the bottom of each game. That means first Q, second Q, third Q and fouth Q. They use media player.
IF YOU WANT TO READ THE COMMENTARY: 1) GO TO http://world.altavista.com/ 2) put in the web address: http://hownew.sportsol.com.cn/sshmorelanqiu.htm 3) select "Chinese to English" AND THERE YOU GO!!!
Well, at work anyway, it's the firewall that's keeping me at bay. If you right click on the Media Player after a while, you'll be able to get the "Error Details" which leads you eventually to this tidbit of info: "The proxy server, the computer that protects your network, cannot be found, so Windows Media Player cannot make a connection. (Error=C00D0035)" I'll try this at home later, maybe I'll have better luck.
Wow, it's working for me at home! Thanks w&s! It's 320x240 at about 15fps, decent enough to zoom to full screen. Just watched the 2nd half vs. Argentina - Oberto really took it to him, though Yao Ming could have caused equal mayhem had the Chinese guards been solid passers. Yao Ming looked confused on defense a few times there which allowed big men to score a bit too easily; hopefully it is a zone that the coach has not sufficiently instilled in the players. Wow, Argentina is a joy to watch. No wasted motion. If you cut, you almost inevitably got the ball. Rocketkid - I'm on a fast connection, but I do see jumpiness (1 frame every 2 seconds) after I play with the seek control a while. Don't know if this is what you are seeing, but when the jumpiness starts getting really bad, close the window, reopen it and seek to where you left off. That works well for me.
