Uh....Yao isn't even fast enough to be a power forward.

Which would explain the 'center' part...

As a point-center, I think Yao sees himself as a man who can pass out of double-teams down low, not the actual practice of dribbling up the ball from one end of the court to the other.

Its, true. The past two #1 picks have had a seemingly devine ability to pull of exciting passes. I have not forgotten Yao's awesome passes last year, before everyone started yelling out "SHOOT THE BALL" at every play. And we are constantly reminded by James' abilities to share the ball, and with the physical capabilities of the next Jordan.

I think what Yao was talking about was his real passing skills as a center. This is quite different than Hakeem.

Passing into the the post and then "kicking it out" is not the same as having real court vision and passing skills.

Yao doesn't mean it literally (point center), but rather in terms of skills similar to LeBron. Both know how to pass well.

Ah, the vaunted "passing center" who averages a whopping 1.4 assists per game. How could i have forgotten?

That doesn't really sound anything like something Yao would say.

That's exactly the tone he used when he was playing in CBA, cocky!:D He was able to back that up, though.

Just hope he can do it in NBA, trash talking, then back it up on the court.;)

Yao better be prepared. James will be motivated now that he is left out of the all-star selection.

Anyone want to start a pool on which quarter LeBron will dunk over Yao? You know it's gonna happen, don't even pretend it's not.
