The hottest topic these few days in the various Chinese websites. It all started with an anonymous posting on the NBA Everyday Website sometimes close to March 31/April 1 saying the parents from both side were getting impatient, that they demanded both Yao and Ye should tie the wedding knots this summer, such that they could have their grand sons and daughters soon. The post also goes into such details that it said the wedding will be on June 18 in Shanghai.

Not sure. The rumour came about just this week i.e. around March 31. It could all be a joke aimed for April Fool's Day.....but it just started to go all over in various Chinese websites with follow-up interviews of Erick Zhang (Team Yao's head) and Lu Hao (Yao Ming's manager in China).
I hope the rumor's true. I want them to start working on getting us a 7'9" point guard in the year 2026.

Yao will get married this summer for sure...otherwise there will gap in his schedule in the following 3 years.. Tmac vs SF3 who will be the best man?
Playas do get married....but that is an aside Anyway, won't it be interesting if Ming Yao and Tracy McGrady get hitched the same summer? I understand Tracy and his long time girlfriend [and mother of his daughter] as planiing on saying their "I do-s" this August. I guess we have to wait and see how all of this turns out for each of them.
