Looking Like A Dynasty Yao Ming, right, found a way to get past San Antonio's Kevin Willis. Talk about doing it all. Yao Ming is doing that, plus some, for the Houston Rockets. On Tuesday, for instance, he had 27 points against San Antonio's David Robinson and Tim Duncan, grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds and ignited the crowd with a huge dunk to finish off the Spurs 89-75. And on top of that, he's become a media darling as well, writes ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher. Nice to see ESPN noticing it!!! They had a big story there about Shaq being the best player on the planet...boom...like this...he's gone . edited: Here's the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index I thought everyone had that bookmarked anyway .
I didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask this ESPN question here. Did anyone notice that on Sportscenter when they put up the graphic of Francis and Yao (just before they went to game highlights) they used the Cleveland Rockers logo instead of the Rockets?
They are just stupid. I mean, since last season they have been confusing Terence Morris and Moochie Norris in the boxscore. Come on. Well, anyway, a question for the stat lovers...has ANY center in the league not named Shaquille O'Neal had a similarly good result against the twin towers since Duncan joined the league? That would be really interesting to know...
I saw that. I knew something was funny when they had the orange and white balls on the graphic. It makes you wonder if they are just this stupid or do they have it in for us?
