2nd Team can beat the 1st Team easily. Okay, well, not easily, but you can see it happen a lot. Front court of 1st Team would get crushed.

How dare he be picked for All-NBA? Doesn't he realize that he's not a superstar...

Doesn't he realize that we want Bosh over him. I guess Bosh is smart and wanted to not sniff All-NBA.

Too bad now Yao's value will go up, there goes our wet dream of signing him 9M/year contract.

Tim Duncan got 2nd team on reputation alone. Most undeserving of the selections.

great! that means he's one of the top 10 among current players and top 3 (or 2) on center position.

    Dirk barely over Timmy.

2nd team is a more "traditional" team. More saying it's better than the 1st team but the formation is closer to the 80s/90s style.

Would be interesting to watch the 1st team VS 2nd team in a 7 game series.

Yeah, actually, I thought that too. The first team isn't as cohesive as Team II. Team II would seriously thump some heads, not to mention Roy is clutch as hell.

Finally Yao is on a team with a great PG. Can't believe it.

I think there is a good chance the Second Team will beat the First Team in real competition. I say NBA should drop the current All-Star format and pit the All-NBA teams against each other in something like best of 3 matches.

not that this matters a ton..

but is there another playoff team on there with only 1 guy who got ANY votes for ANY of the teams?

We have a good bunch of role players, but no one has played up to the level to get even a single 3rd team vote

hmm, I don't have problem if he takes some cuts for the team like Duncan did recently, but 9M/year is an insult to everyone not just to Yao.

I feel sorry for Deron Williams, wow. The 2nd best PG has yet to make the All Star game and now this?

Don't get me wrong Dwight Howard is a great player, but dude is seriously over-rated imho. He's an elite defender and an incredible athlete, but he cant win a ball game on his own like the other players on the 1st team. His shot outside of like 5 feet sucks.
