I was reading the Miami Herald and they had an Artilcle about Pat Riley going to Chicago this weekend to see Yao Ming. Pat said there is alot of potential for this guy and maybe the Heat would be interested in MOving up on the draft. One thing that was very interesting was that Don Casey the Ex Nets Coach is scouting him and Said Yao Ming is the best player in the draft this year. "hes very well coordinated. He has a couple of good moves around the basket and he makes good passes out of double teams. If he comes over and gets the right coaching, by the time hes 25 he could have the biggest impact on the game since WIlt Chamberlain or Bill Russell. His upside is Huge"

In the final game in China he hit 21 out of 21 and had 49pts 17rebs six blocks and three steals !

P.S. the pic they had on the article of him showed him with the ball up in the air and 4 little men looking up at his armpits i wonder if he hit 21 out of 21 shooting or dunking??

As they say, Pat Riley likes to play rookies just as much as he likes to feel the cool breeze blowing through his hair.

    A couple?

That is ridiculous. I highly doubt that.

    LOL.

Hmmm...Pat is going to have to get creative if he wants to move up...

Chris Gatling, the #10, and my book???

No? Okay, how about Chris Gatling and the #10, then???

If we get the #1 and Pat wants it, he'd better be ready to give us Zo. I don't care what Pat offers, if Zo isn't in the deal then there shouldn't be one. If we had Zo, I'm sure we could be ok with not getting the SF we want. We just need somebody to knock down threes and swing the ball around the arc. Man, if we had Zo, our defense would improve quicker than you could say "Cato sucks." We wouldn't need a SF because we would Have Griff starting there anyway. Can you guys imagine the block party that Griffin and Zo would put on if they played together? I suppose we'd have to trade KT or Taylor. If Rice is healthy, then we could probably put him in the 3 spot, we'd probably have to trade both KT and Taylor for salary reasons so then Griff would start at PF. Even if he only puts on 10 lbs that would be good enough. Zo could score what Taylor and Cato do by himself so he would have to be the first option. I think Francis wouldn't mind deferring to him. And if you are worried about his health, well if the unfortunate should happen and ends up having to retire early, that frees up a lot of cap space to go after Duncan.

Miggidy Markell, that was this last season. He did play full games btw.

I don't think he'll have a problem because it seems his stamina soared towards the end of the season, and he can now anticipate what's going to happen and how he can adjust.
