For someone who is reputed to have a good enough command of English to speak and joke with his teammates and reporters, he certainly sems a lot more forthcoming in Chinese interviews.

It seems that Bill Duffy really takes good care of Yao Ming, he even asked someone to send a video of Divac defending Shaq before the Lakers game. Obviously Yao didn't look up Divac too much, he defended Shaq with what he thought would be most effective, i.e. the way Batere used to defend himself in China.

How come people people look at the box scores (or look at a few dunk highlights) and think amare outplayed Yao 1 on 1 and Yao had a hard time holding him? Yao only was responsible for him a few possessions down the stretch during the game, and those times, Amare was totally ineffective. From what I rememebered, all the damage by Amare was done against TMo & Griff.

From what I've seen yes, but I've only 2 or 3 games, and I did not see the monster game he had against the pups.

Yao is a C and Amare is a PF. They shouldn't be guarding eachother. Its a missmatch on each side of the court.

I think Bateer must have fed him some tainted food.
