    Has anyone posted this before? Anyone notice that already?

    He gains 14 pounds this offseason and more importantly, he is now the TALLEST player in NBA.

    It's hard to imagine that such a HUGE body has so much skills and talent inside. As mentioned by A.I., he is the gift from GOD.

    how did A.I.'s quote really go? i know he didn't say yao was a gift from god, but it has been misquoted that way ever since he said it.

    Good find. He weighed 320 lbs at the time Anthony went to China to evaluate Yao a few weeks ago. Looks like the diet he was put on trimmed 10 lbs off him.

    i dunno what to believe. weve heard so many conflicting remarks on his weight...a couple days ago CD while on 610 AM said he was 20 lbs heavier than last season...that would put him closer to 320 than 310....blah, who knows

    If he keeps growing, he'll probably be the tallest player ever in the NBA... truly something very special and unique.

    Did Yao Ming grow another inch at age of 23? There are really too many mysteries around him :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    Well, according to the preseason media guide, http://www.nba.com/media/rockets/preseason0304.pdf , they still have Eggie listed at 232.

    They do have Yao listed at 7-6, 310 though.

    how did they get his weight? hes not even here yet. didnt the trainer say he was 325 at one point?

    Yao Ming grew 1/2" during the offseason. Has now been measured at 7'6".
