I have learned many things from Chinese and American media. Thus I use this title to show you all that I am a good learner.

According to today's Chinese media, Ming talked for a while with Carter after they met. Ming said to Carter, "Since you have nothing to do at this summer, why don't you join Chinese National Team and play for us at the World Championships?" Carter burst into laughs after he heard these words. Then they had a 2 on 2 game. (Both Yao Ming and his partner scored one ball. So Carter's side lost 0:2). After that game, Ming handed a Chinese National Team jersey with #15 to Carter (#15 is Wang Zhizhi's number at Chinese National Team). Carter's name had been printed on the back of that Jersey.

It's would make sense if Ming gave Carter his #13 jersey at Chinese NT or his #15 jersey at Shanghai Sharks. Why did he give Wang zhizhi's jersey to Carter? Is that just a joke? Or that is a hint that Wang will be excluded from Chinese NT? I hope Wang can still play for China.

I am glad that Ming can talk with Carter in English.

W&S, I think it was just a big coincidence that Wang is number15. I think Carter was given that jersey because that's his number in the NBA and that's all...I dont think it has anything to do with Wang. But I agree with you, if they were trading jerseys, why didn't Yao give him his number?
