I was watching the USA vs Arg. game and at half time they were talking about Yao Ming. They showed highlights of Ming in today's N.Z. game. He was making his move in the post for a lay-up, the ball went in but he was called for an offensive foul. From what I saw, I thought Ming was fouled in that play and so did Ming himself. He chases the ref down the court and spoke emotionally to him and got called for a T. Anyway I was just surprised that he got called for a Technical foul. But you gotta love his attitude! By the way, how about Argentina? They're a very quick and good passing team. They're screwing the USA. It seems likely that the US will lose it's first game.
That official was Ed T. Rush, an NBA official. I hope he doesn't hold a grudge ala Jake O'Donnell and Clyde Drexler.
If you complain and curse a ref in a foreign language, do you still get a T? cos if then, maybe steve should take some lessons from Ming and shave off his Techs.

Yeah, me too. I only saw about one quarter of the game, and it was the very first time I've seen Yao on TV. I was surprised because he seemed just like a typical NBA player, and I was under the impression that b*tching to the refs wasn't something he already did. I don't mean that negatively, BTW.
Well I guess we could say he has a desire to win and stuff like that. You know, get intense and stuff. That would be my guess. But I also think Yao has been very frustrated lately and is a little edgy, but then again I don't even know him. What an expert I am. Wait, did I just put down myself. Hmm...
Well, the good news is we at least know that he can speak English to refrees. He's called goal-tending 3 times before that tech. I think he's quite pissed at that time.
