"If a tooth can exchange for a victory, I'd rather I lost 15 more teeth, because we can then be the overall NBA Champion." Before Game 4 with the Utah Jazz, Carl Landry was still cracking jokes with the reporters. The huge black hole in his mouth was still there and not yet filled.

A joke was but a joke. The 1 ~ 3 result had let the rookie shut off his mouth, and obviously he was somewhat sad and depressed. "I did feel a little bit sad." Carl Landry, obviously not happy, said with a gloomy face after Game 4. "But yet we have to give our all and keep on fighting. We have not yet been eliminated, have we? As long as we can win the next 3 games consecutively, we can still make it to Round 2. We still have the opportunity."

As a rookie, Carl Landry's performance in the last 2 games was fantastic. After becoming the hero of Game 3, he had again contributed 13 points in Game 4 , which was even higher than the summation of all points scored by the remaining players from the Rockets' bench. Additionally, he had grabbed 6 offensive rebounds, and was also the top player in the 2 teams. The only regret was that he could not lock the victory for the team this time.

"This playoff series is all about which team plays more physical and with more intensity and fighting spirit. Whichever team plays more fierce will finally win." Carl Landry said. "They grabbed more rebounds than us, and they played great defense against us. They deserved to be winner for Game 4."

"If possible and if needed, I won't mind losing another tooth in our next game in order to win." The reason why Carl Landry was so confident was that right after Game 3, Yao Ming patted him on his shoulder and told him: "Carl, you don't have to worry and afraid losing all your teeth. I'll pay out of my own pocket for all your teeth-filling expenses."

Carl's a warrior.

I got a mancrush on him. I think it's due to the sheer testosterone he exudes on the court. He's got manliness running through his veins.

I wish TMac had his toughness, I think with a punch to the mouth, TMac would probably need X-Rays, Dental assistant on the field and a visit to a psychologist and the whole organizations' support.
