    Right now, Yao Ming is competing with Carter at Beijing. 2 by 2 game (each of them with a young player)

    I thought he was there with Yao-sa to judge some slam dunk competition. Must be a hell of a show if Vince-sanity is going to fly all the way to Beijing for that.

    my boy Yao Ming is so-so tall.

    When you play against the Rockets that early November day,
    no doubt Yao-sa is going to swat that weak trash away!

    We all know that guys like Shaq, Kobe, TMac, Iverson etc... are awesome players with major popularity... but basically Vince Carter is the biggest internationally.

    I won't compare him to Jordan skill-wise but when it comes to things like selling jerseys in Europe or shoes in Asia, Carter is #1 by a landslide. Carter has that global appeal that few players ever have. I think his jersey is 2nd behind Iverson's in overall sales and we all know that Ivy is big in the US where the thug thing is in right now.

    This event is probably a media bonanza in Beijing.

    windandsea - what exactly is it - just a 2 on 2 game to promote the NBA in China? Can you keep us updated on things and post more pics if they are published?

    The game is over. Both of them changed their #15 jersey to each other. (Ming is #15 at National team)

    2 by 2 game, Yao Ming with a 10-year-old kid and Carter with a 10-year-old kid. Yao Ming's side won 2:0 (that little kid shot to score two balls).
