I dont know if this has been posted, but I usually think that those locally made commercials for the Rockets are pretty lame, but this one with these two guys in a grocery store was absolutely hilarious. I believe they should budget this commerical, and get this one on national tv. Me being a Marketing Major, I found that a very good and funny ad for the Rockets. Hehe, who knew YAO had a sense of humor.
thats been established for a long time but yeah that commercial was great and the usual commercials are kinda weak and look low budget. Our official homepage sucks too, the new Timberwolves homepage IMO is the best one in the NBA
Well they walk in the store, and start to sample stuff, like Grapes and Bagles, they bowl with turkeys and knock over bottles of water, then Cuttino goes up to the front with bubble bath and it doesnt scan, and they announce "price check on baby bubble bath please" and he gets all embarasses, then they read greeting cards, and Yao looks like he is crying and he turns to Cat and says "I have something in my eye", is there any way possible someone has a link for this, so this dude can see it?
Man, what a couple of total goofballs in that commercial! I love it! I wonder if ecinokc can capture the commercial into WMV format? Speaking of commercials, if you haven't seen them already, on Rockets.com there are behind the scenes clips (here) of some of the All-Star campaign commercials featuring Yao, SF, Cat, and....Coop! And from watching those behind the scenes clips, let me take this opportunity to say, Damn Coop! Baby got MUCH back! Show me whatchu workin with! Ahhhhhhhh ...don't you just love it after a good Rockets win?

if noone gets it capped before this evening...Ill rip it and post it if enough people are interested. btw...to ecinokc....there are ways of getting much smaller file sizes...when I rip plays..they are normally less than 3M .. have you thought of ripping to mpeg1?

Speaking of Rockets commercials, has anybody who has league pass seen the commercial with Cat giving props to us Idaho Rocket fans?
We'll post it. We have another one that's just getting finished as well (Mo, Kelvin, and Mike Wilks go bowling) that we'll post as well. As for the opening ... I think we've got video of that now that works, but I have to check. It might be a couple of days ... we've got our Tux & Tennies charity gala coming up tomorrow night, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year, for the next day-and-a-half we're pretty focused on that. Both edit bays working around the clock, etc. Thanks for the feedback on the commercials, the good and the bad -- it all helps. Tim
okay mine finally worked... it does look low budget still but it's kinda funny. cat is a supermarket freeloader haha... meanwhile Yao still has skinny arms, hope he's able to put on more muscle at some point.
