TMac played nearly the whole damn game and got to the free throw line exactly how many times?

    Let me see...

NOT ONE DAMN TIME!

That is really unbelieveable. That is all I can say.

The problem was not offense. We scored enough points IMO. The problem is defense. Letting Lakers score over 110+ points is bad. Period.

Sorry the title should have read Yao is not the only one WITH problems...

Ivanny you are right but if our defense isn't getting it done then you have to ATTACK MORE on offense. Kobe attacks the basket and gets results.

Yao is not a problem at all.

    IMHO, he played pretty well.

There's something wrong with the system or the team. I could not put my finger on it. Even though we got the best duo in the NBA, we still lose some games we should have win.

Our biggest problem is our defence, especially in 3 and 4 position.

Actually rvpals Yao does have some problems. Several of them. One of his main problems is how he holds the ball. Whether it is due to him keeping the ball down low enough to be swatted at or his lack of upperbody (hand) strength or both, he can't hold onto the ball.

Another thing is when he gets the ball down into the post, most of the time he puts the ball on the floor and then shoots instead of just turning and shooting. Not a good idea.

Obviously he needs major work on his defensive skills. Mainly just positioning. He needs to get out of the way of the defender let him slide by and swat him from behind.

Yao is still so much better than the majority of the bigmen in the league, but in order for the rockets to meet expectations he must get stronger mentally as well as physically.

Now I started this thread about TMacs inability to consistently get to the line. We seemed to have moved to Yaos inabilities. So I will finish this up.

I believe that one way to get more out of Yao is that he should be taking the same amount of shots as TMac. No doubt about it.
I am sure most of you agree.

T-Mac had less fire than Yao.

He had less fire than any other NBA player.
    He plays like he looks.
